These are the finishes and epoxy products we actually use in our shop. From durable topcoats to crystal-clear epoxy, this is the stuff that gets the job done right. Whether you’re finishing furniture, pouring a river table, or caring for your cutting board or charcuterie board—this is how we do it.

Walrus Oil is what I grab when it’s time to keep cutting boards and charcuterie boards looking their best. The oil soaks in to protect from moisture, and the wax adds a smooth finish that makes the wood pop. It’s simple to use, food-safe, and works on everything from butcher blocks to wooden spoons. And no, no walruses were harmed in the making—people ask that a lot.

WALRUS OIL - Cutting Board Oil and Wood Wax Set.

Walrus Oil Furniture Butter is what I use when I want a natural, matte finish that still feels like real wood. It’s 100% natural and VOC-free, so you don’t feel like you’re working in a chemical lab. Perfect for furniture projects where you want the grain to pop without a glossy look. And unlike with the cutting board oil—a few walruses were harmed in the making..jk

Liquid Glass Deep Pour Epoxy is my go-to for those thick pours and crystal-clear finishes. It flows like a dream, making it perfect for 2-4 inch river tables, deep molds, or other casting projects. The UV resistance keeps it from yellowing, and it’s food safe, so it’s great for charcuterie boards or anything that might see food contact. It’s durable, high-temp resistant, and honestly, just fun to work with when you need that perfect glassy look.

Rubio Monocoat Wood Stain & Finish 650 ft² - White 5%

Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it. This stuff stains and seals in one coat, saving time while giving a durable, matte finish that looks amazing. The White 5% tint looks absolutely sick on quarter-sawn white oak, bringing out the grain without looking too heavy. It’s also eco-friendly and goes a long way—650 square feet per can means you won’t be running out anytime soon.

Superclear Designer Art Resin is what I use for filling checks, cracks, and holes in wood when I don’t need a deep pour. It’s crystal clear, self-leveling, and easy to work with, making it perfect for small fills and detail work. It cures rock solid and blends in seamlessly, so the wood still looks natural—just without the gaps.

Osmo Polyx-Oil 3043 is like ranch dressing for wood—I put it on everything. It’s easy to apply, super durable, and gives a smooth satin finish that feels great to the touch. Perfect for furniture, tables, and even floors, plus it’s low-VOC and brings out the wood’s natural beauty without looking overly shiny. If I need a reliable finish that holds up, this is what I reach for.
